操作方法
（01）1.字數安排.在我們拿到一個topic的時候,首先要看字數要求,並以此來安排這篇essay的大致3個部分在字數上的分配.標準的essay分為4個部分:introductionbodyconclusionreference以一份1500字的essay為例:introduction250 字body 1000 字conclusion 250 字reference 不算在字數中2.內容(body) 的字數安排.以一個topic: compare Frederick w. taylor and Elton Mayo's management theories, what are the similarities and differences between them and what's their relationship?這個topic其實涉及到了三個內容:A--similarities,B---differences,和C---relationship.所以我們在字數上可以把body分為3個部分,每個部分約330字oduction 分為兩部分:第一部分是background,引出topic的內容;第二部分是body中的主要內容,也就是這篇essay的內容和段落排序.以上面的topic為例:Since the setting up of the first factories in the late eighteenth century,management had become a problem seriously affecting the factories'production,and then,it was grdually recognised as an important element for the success or failure of acompany. Until the nineteenth century, the systematic and scientific management theory came out with its leading thinkers,two of whom were well known as frederick w. Taylor and Elton Mayo. Both Taylor and Mayo stated the importance of the productivity and cooperation between managers and essay will firstly discuss("this essay will firstly discuss"這段話很重要,是個標誌,所有essay都必須按照這個格式來.從這裡開始,就是對整個essay的主要內容分幾個板塊來進行嚴格概括.這個標誌後的內容應為body裡的內容A)these similarities in their different management theories and how they relate to each owing this (這句話是個標誌,此話後的內容為body裡的內容B)It wil lexplain the differences of the two theories concerning the consideration of the human beings during lly,(此後內容為內容C.注意:如果body裡的內容不只是ABC,或者還有DEF的話,中間可以用subsequently, forthly等等的副詞作為標誌來寫)It will look at how the two theories affect the feeling of workers and support increasing the productivity and maximising the efficiency.之前的內容是background,之後的就是本篇essay 的主要內容.以上3個步驟是寫好一篇essay的最關鍵步驟.在這幾個步驟之後,body和conclusion就變的很容易了.但是要說明的是body部分是一篇essay最重要的部分,也是得分點最多的部分,因為它是這個essay主要內容的體現.還是以剛才的那個題目為例,topic提到了3點關鍵內容:similarities,differences,relationship.這樣的話,3點內容可以分拆為3段來論述.最後是reference.我們平時遇到reference大概有2種,一種是APA格式,一種是Harvard格式,具體的reference格式根據不同的學校有不同的規定.兩種格式其實區別不是很大,一般情況下,都可以在自己學校的圖書館裡找到要求的reference的寫法rence一般分為兩種,一種是直接引用quotation;一種是間接引用 citing.直接引用需要在in-text reference裡寫上具體的頁數page no .但是間接引用不是必須要寫上頁數的.很多同學經常會問為什麼in-text reference裡面沒有頁數,那就是說明那個引用是間接引用,是用自己話來表達概括出所引用的理論.關於reference的個數問題,一般來說,1000字的essay需要5-6個reference,1500字的需要8-10.2000-3000字需要10-15個.字數越多,reference的數量越多.但是需要注意的是,一般情況下,引用部分只能佔整篇文章內容的25%-30%.但是,Trunitin是澳洲各個大學普遍使用的一種防抄襲軟體.一篇essay允許的相似程度是10%以下.所以直接引用的部分只能佔整篇文章內容的10%以下.這樣,我們可以儘量使用間接引用.
